Hertz is seeking to pace up the automotive rental expertise with facial recognition tech.

The company has teamed up with airport safety service CLEAR to let renters try their automobiles with only a look.

CLEAR members who hyperlink the characteristic to their Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account can simply drive as much as a kiosk, give it a stare or a smile and drive away.

The characteristic is launching at Hartsfeld-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport, the place Hertz says it cuts the check-out time from 2 minutes to below 30 seconds.
